In reply to <a href="https://scottsmoneymachines.com/what-is-pinterest/#comment-542">W. Gordon Sawyer</a>.

I would contact Pinterest and let them know your concerns. Be nice and don't make accusations, just state what's going on and ask if they can help. I would also make a practice of backing up your website on a regular basis. Also, when you make pins, save them on your computer (along with descriptions, titles, etc.) so you can reproduce them if needed. Be careful who you grant access to your website - and when you do, don't allow admin control or grant access to modify or delete content.

Someone from Pinterest deleted an entire section of my website which included nearly a thousand pins with their matching music pieces--without any notice or warning. If Pinterest has any mercy, they will restore my collection which took over a year of juxtaposing. I've already lost 4 of my followers to my Pinterest website, & regard this deletion as an assault on my intellectual property! I hope I won't have to take more drastic measures to right this wrong. Sincerely W. Gordon Sawyer. 6-25/25.

Hi Robin. If pins are disappearing and board names are changing, it could be that someone has access to your account. Perhaps it was hacked. Change the password and see what happens.

I am going crazy! I created a number of boards, for several projects I'm working on - one is Botanical drawings for bookmarks and bookcovers. I was scanning my pins for several drawings, and dscovered that suddenly my pins were gone and all the pins were of pasta dishes! Board names were changed, and the pins were weird also. I don't know what is going on.

There's so many more online opportunities for passive income (aka, money machines) now than there were when I wrote this post!

In reply to <a href="https://scottsmoneymachines.com/what-is-pinterest/#comment-151">Ginnie Stapelfeld</a>.

Hi Ginnie. To view your pins, click on your profile icon on the upper right when logged in. Then scroll down past your title and description, under the number of followers, and under the share and edit profile buttons... you will see tab called "Saved". Click on that and you will be able to see your pins. They will be separated by boards. If you want to delete a pin, hover over it and click on the pen icon at the bottom. This gives you the option to edit it or delete it. Keep in mind that Pinterest continuously updates what they consider to be best practices, and currently it is not recommended to delete old pins.

Hi Connie. To delete a Pinterest pin from your account, click on the pin to open it. Then you will see the image of the pin and just to the right of it near the top, there are three dots. Click on those three dots and choose "edit pin". At the bottom on the left, there is a button to delete the pin.
